GENERAL MANAGER(한국 지사장)

Reports to both Director and CEO of the company; headquartered in Singapore
[Terms ]
3 years contract basis subject to renewal
[Scope]
. Set up new operations in Korea where during the initial stage, operations will be from home with a registered address held with a professional firm.
. Manage all business matters and day to day operations
. Plan, execute and follow up closely on all business and project related issues
. Establish close relationship with customers in Korea, mainly Samsung for the time being
. Dealing with high level senior management personnel from Samsung Korea, including the Consumer Electronic Product Division
. Responsible for working with customer on adopting the EMS/Anti-theft system, a digital code to lock and secure electronic devices at source; to reduce pilferage
. Hiring of new Technical engineers to help execution and operational work at client’s factory
. Reporting and liaison with Singapore head office on all matters and support including sales/marketing, technical, finance/accounting, administration
[Requirement]
. Degree in engineering or any discipline, MBA preferred though not a must
. Effectively bilingual, English and Korean
. A Korean with at least 20 years of working experience in consumer electronic manufacturing and product industry, of which 10 years are in senior management position
. Prior working experience with strong track record of success in Samsung Consumer Electronic Products division in Korea a must
. Excellent network and contacts within Samsung Consumer Electronic Product and Manufacturing Division with close ties and relationship with top management and decision makers
. Excellent inter-personal skills, high integrity, driven, results oriented, matured and independent
. Some traveling might be required based on work requirement

. Basic Salary
. Variable bonus subject to company and individual performance
. Medical and Hospitalization insurance as per company policy
. Reimbursement of handphone expenses (subject to limit per company policy)
. Annual leave entitlement : 14 days per year
. Sick leave : 14 days per calendar year
. Hospitalization leave : 60 days per calendar year
. Business Travel :
. < 5 hours, economy class
. > 5 hours, business class
. Hotel accommodation : US$200 per night
. Entertainment : a pre-approved budget will be set as a guide but actual subject to approval by Director or CEO
. Probationary period : 6 months
. Termination notice : 2 months notice in writing by either party
