BEOL Expert/Senior Member of Technical Staff
a. Position based in Kuching, Malaysia
b. Reporting to Global Process Development Team Leader
c. Attached to Technology Department
d. Minimum 15-20 years of RELEVANT BEOL integration experience
e. Should have Al-based experience besides Cu-based experience
f. Working knowledge of all process steps in the BEOL system (dielectric deposition, CMP, CVD/PVD for metal deposition, lithography and etch).
g. Extensive experience of BEOL process integration, at around the 130nm node, using Al-based technology.
h. Solid track record of optimising BEOL processes for yield and reliability.
i. Good understanding of reliability failure mechanisms and Failure Analysis techniques.
j. Understanding of design rules and the impact of metal systems on product performance.
k. Target Asian candidates, e.g. Koreans, Taiwanese, Chinese, Singaporean
l. Able to communicate in English fluently
m. Willing to travel
n. Budget: not a concern as long as the candidate fits the requirement
[Job Summary]
MNC is looking for a Back-End-Of-Line (BEOL) expert to join our Process Development team, based in Kuching, Malaysia, but working as part of an international organization developing mixed signal CMOS and integrated MEMS technologies. Our BEOL technologies must support high voltage operation and be optimized for analog applications.
[Major Responsibilities]
·Develop BEOL systems for high temperature and high reliability applications.
·Optimise BEOL processes for yield.
·Support the transfer of technologies to other MNC sites.
·Liaise with customers to support production ramp.
·Provide technical leadership to define the strategy for future BEOL technologies, based on an understanding of customer future needs.
[Requirements]
1.Qualification: Bachelor Degree / Master of Engineering in Material Science, Physics, Microelectronics or related subject. PhD desirable
2.Experience: Minimum 15-20 years of experience in BEOL integration.

7.Trained in the formal use of Design-of-Experiments and statistical techniques.
8.Familiarity with stress modelling and test structure design are advantages.
