[Summary]
Provide executive leadership to position the company as a competitive leader at the forefront of two major industries. Execute strategic plan approved by the company¡¯s board of managers to maximize profits and generate positive annual return on investment for stakeholders. Develop an organizational plan that promotes revenue growth and profitability. Oversee company operations to insure production efficiency, quality, delivery, customer satisfaction, product development, service, and cost effective management of resources.
[PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES]
¡¤ Achieve monthly and annual revenue and net income approved forecasts.
¡¤ Complete financial, sales, and operations reporting to US parent company leadership team in the specified timing with verified accuracy.
¡¤ Plan, develop, and implement strategies for generating growth and/or revenues in Asia, Europe, and specifically in the United States market.
¡¤ Implement competitive manufacturing (lean) principles in the new China ceramic manufacturing facility.
¡¤ Implement the revenue growth and profitability plan for the sensor business unit in Korea (specifically in Asia and the United States market).
¡¤ Provide leadership direction to support company managers executing programs within the product development and engineering group.
¡¤ Develop managers to improve functional department efficiencies and leverage resources throughout the company.
¡¤ Review activity reports and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revise objectives and plans in accordance with current and/or changing business conditions.
¡¤ Represent the company at business, government, and charitable forums.
[REQUIREMENTS]
¡¤ Bachelor¡¯s Degree (Master¡¯s Degree Preferred).
¡¤ Fluency in Korean and English (both written and verbal); Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese a plus.
¡¤ Ten-plus years in a general and operations management position with P&L accountability/responsibility.
¡¤ Experience in developing and executing strategic plans; program launches; and lean manufacturing, Six Sigma and/or similar quality continuous improvement programs.
¡¤ Willingness to work a flexible schedule and travel across Asia and internationally.
¡¤ Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
¡¤ Ability to communicate and interact with officials at all levels of business and government; work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse environment; and motivate teams and simultaneously manage several projects.
¡¤ Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions and judgments.
¡¤ Demonstrated ability to handle difficult and sensitive situations.
¡¤ Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office).
¡¤ Strong ability to communicate with multiple internal and external customers verbally and in writing & ensure customer expectations are met.
¡¤ Ability to multitask using strong organizational skills.
