[Job Title]
Area Sales Manager – South Korea

[Job Purpose]
To influence the specification and ultimate purchase of the MNC products, by Oil and Gas End-users, Contractors and OEMs.

[Key Measurable Objectives]
¡¤ To achieve a personal annual sales target of GBP 1.75 Million 1st Year
¡¤ To Inclusin on ALL Oil and Gas operator¡¯s AML (Approved Manufacturers List) in the country.
¡¤ To identify ALL OEM clients for MNCs within a 3 month period, and to secure orders from each within 12 months.

[Primary Responsibilities]
¡¤To generate profitable orders for MNC¡¯s
¡¤To influence client specifications to the MNC range
¡¤To service existing client base, and where necessary co-ordinate with existing external sales team
¡¤To add new clients to the MNC portfolio
¡¤To influence product innovation through client and market input
¡¤To identify and target new product markets
¡¤External client visits – 80% of time
¡¤Identify and proactively pursue key projects

[Secondary Responsibilities]
¡¤Marketing the MNC products through Exhibitions, Lunch and Learns and Seminars
¡¤Co-ordinate internal support to achieve primary goals
¡¤To provide up to date and relevant PR material to the Marketing Department

[Qualifications/Skills]
¡¤Technical Qualification/background i.e. HNC/HND engineering
¡¤Computer literate
¡¤Proven sales track record .
¡¤Negotiating and closing the sale.

[Requirements]
¡¤Candidate should possess at least a Diploma, Higher Diploma or Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
¡¤Have at least 5 years¡¯ proven management experience in similar industry.
¡¤Excellent verbal and written communication skill in English.
¡¤Experience in selling technical or engineering products is an advantage.
¡¤Good local knowledge and contacts in the modern trade, distribution channels and the related industry is highly desirable.
¡¤Computer literate with the ability to formulate reports as and when needed.
¡¤Willingness to travel.
